Become a UCR College Corps Fellow

UCR College Corps is made up of highly committed college students who are passionate about serving their community. If this is you, apply and join us.

To be eligible, you must be:

• Ready to start at the anticipated start date: Fall Quarter 2023

• Full-time, enrolled undergraduate student.

• No minimum GPA, must be in good academic standing.

• Ability to commit to the program for the full academic year.

• Meet at least one of the following criteria:

  • Qualify for a federal Pell grant,

  • Qualify for a State Cal Grant or Middle Class Scholarship,

  • Be an AB-540 eligible Dreamer, or

  • Need to work part time and/or borrow student loans to meet their educational costs.

• Have a reliable mode of transportation

• Get clearance from background checks

• Show a current, negative TB test result (for Education Fellows only)

Application Instructions

1. Create a cover letter answering the following questions based upon your preferred focus area. If you are a AB-540 eligible dreamer, please note that in your cover letter or resume.  
   1. What impact do you want to make in the field of education, climate action, or food insecurity? 
   2. How will you prioritize or adjust your schedule to accommodate 15 hours per week at your site, while maintaining good academic standing? 
2. Submit your cover letter, resume, and Fall 2023 schedule, if available, through handshake at this link (pending availability)
